Sh. Kewal Krishan Sood is born on 6th April’1925 in a respectable family in a MUSLIM STATE of MALERKOTLA. His father late Pyare Lal Sood was an Honorary Magistrate. Sh. Kewal Krishan Sood was one of the most popular person, right from his childhood and extended social services as a young student before the independence of the country.
In the beginning of his carrier he introduced the business of colonization in a small city like Malerkotla and was successful. His business was giving good returns, still he was always thinking of developing a manufacturing unit, with a vast scope of development and growth. As he was an Arts Graduate and without any technical knowledge it was difficult for him to decide the product line. He surveyed and interacted with many executives of compaines in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi etc., and ultimately decided to manufacture AC Components. This decision was based on his vision and foresightedness.
Sh. Kewal Krishan Sood was convinced that the product selected by him would give ample opportunities of growth for his next generations. Finally he made up his mind and established a small unit in the year of 1977 at Malerkotla in the name of KPM INDUSTRIES. He faced all hardships and difficulties to manufacture such components without having any technical knowledge and availability of assistance & services in a small township like Malerkotla. But, nothing stopped him to become a successful manufacturer of Air-condition components.
At this stage his both sons could realize the hardship of their father and joined his business in the year of 1980 after completing their education. With the blessing of their father both the sons are serving the Air-condition industry since last three decades. |

Expansion of KPM Group
 | A tiny plant, which was planted by their father rapidly grown to a big oak tree. Now, this tree has many branches. Now KPM Group is having many other branches which are:

Apart to the contribution to air-condition industry Sh. Kewal Krishan Sood has also promoted KPM Charitable Trust. Under the flag of this Trust he extended a helping hand to the poor and needy of the society. He also donated one of his most precious commercial spaces and erected KEWAL SHIV MANDIR at KPM CHOWK of MALERKOTLA.
He believed in his hard work and the philosophy of “Nothing is Impossible.” He is an inspiration for millions of people who want to fulfill their ambitions, even though they don’t have required knowledge and resources. He believes that a RIVER makes its own way similarly every human being has the capacity and strength to attain his ambitions if he has a strong WILL. |

We lay prime importance on the quality of our products. Our quality check personals inspect the whole production process at each stage of production. The inspection system is controlled with the help of Drawings, Gauges, Height Gauge, Micrometer, Vernier Caliper & some other technical equipment for producing our range with accurate dimensions. |
Our TEAM
| We are glad to state that a small unit, which was started with 5 operators in 1977, is now having strength of 150 operators and technical staff at the works apart from the administrative staff of 25 members. All the operators and staff members are working most sincerely to manufacture a wide range of durable brass & copper based components used by the Air-condition industry. They manage all the activities of product and business with their sincerity and dedication. Our team has a strong conviction that improvements and development is always a on-going process. They are using 5S KAIZEN as a meaningful tool for solving the problems at works and to incorporate further developments in the existing range of products and to introduce new products. |
